1- Salsa in Halles de l'Ile, if you are serious about dancing salsa in Geneva


This bar / restaurant is the most popular for salsa and other latin dances. The good thing is that Les Halles de l'Ile mixes people that come only to have a drink with the dancers.
The dance area has a reasonable size and unlike the parties organized by salsa dance schools, you get to meet a wider range of people: different age, different origins.
When ? there is a party every Wednesday from 10pm plus one Sunday a month, from 7pm.

2-Tony's Bar, afterwork salsa

Tony's bar is a very cosy bar on the river banks. It also serves snacks in addition to drinks. The dance area is smaller than in Halles de l'Ile but it can get packed and very animated. Ideal for afterworks outings.

3-BDG, le Brasseurs Des Grottes, the place for salsa and latin crowd

This bar is a reference for Salsa. It is also more frequented by people from latin origin. Salsa classes are actually given in the pub. In addition, the Brasseurs offers a large dancefloor and a larger seating area (one upstairs and one downstairs) with cocktails and dining options.

When ? There is a nice multicultural crowd on Friday nights.

Located in the city center, this pub is probably more difficult to find but the surroundings are quite enjoyable. The salsa party are organized by a latin dances schools and the wild dancing starts just after the end of the class.
